Our luxury Scandinavian lodge with private hot tub in Wales, is set in its own fenced grounds near a bubbly stream. Relax on the sheltered veranda whilst your children play in the stream and run free around the enclosed garden, whilst the buzzards or kites sore overhead and at night listen to the owls from your hot tub. Wake up to great views of the surrounding hills and natural woodlands that shelter this private valley.
The Lodge is made from solid pine timbers with open plan ground floor, kitchen, living area & dining area, with an adjacent utilities room, shower area & toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the utensils you need, plus a sperate fridge and freezer, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, gas hob & electric oven.
The living area has freeview sky tv with dvd player & hifi system. Change over day during Peak is Friday. Upstairs you have a double bathroom en-suite & zip and link king bed or twin.
The lodge is gas central heated & for the long summer evenings there is a spacious veranda equipped with hand-made wooden furniture & outside lighting. Watch the sun go down with a glass of wine in our very comfortable chairs after stargazing in your private hot tub. Please fetch slippers for in the lodge.
During busy times we ask guests to depart at 10am on a Friday, as we need to prepare the lodge for our next guests.
Why not find out more about the wildlife of the area by visiting Radnor Wildlife trust. Or if the children are feeling active, why not drop by Quackers, a great local indoor play centre whilst you relax with a hot drink.
To get up close and personal with some amazing wildlife why not visit the Small Breeds farm & Owl centre just a couple minutes from the local market town of Kington. Enjoy the peace & beauty of Mid-Wales, from horseback at Underhill Riding Stables, just a 5-minute drive from the lodge.
Another great day out that is not to be missed, are the Victorian reservoirs of Elan Valley. Or why not visit somewhere closer such as the cascading waterfall at Water-breaks-it-neck just over the hill.
